Dean of Students needed in an International School in Ahmedabad. Joining in June Job Purpose: The Dean of Students is responsible for fostering a supportive and inclusive school environment by ensuring the well-being, safety and personal development and academic progress of students. The role involves working closely with students, parents, teachers and school leadership to promote positive behavior, emotional well-being and a culture of care aligned with IB/CIE philosophy and values. Responsibilities - Student Well Being and Support Behavior Management Student Engagement Administration and Compliance Responsibilities Qualification - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field. Experience - 5 to 7 years of in a pastoral or student support role within an IB/CIE school setting. Experience in behavior management, student well-being programs, and child safeguarding. Training or certification in counseling, mental health, or safeguarding is preferred. Strong understanding of IB/CIE pastoral care principles and values. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Empathy, active listening, and conflict-resolution abilities. Ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and parents. Strong organizational and leadership skills. Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding protocols. Candidates willing to relocate can apply. However no accommodation will be provided from school.
