Job Title: SST (Social Studies) Teacher – Grades 6–10 Location: Vidyaranyapura, North Bengaluru Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month Preference: Local candidates only Job Summary: We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic SST (Social Studies) Teacher to teach students from Grades 6 to 10. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of subjects such as History, Geography, Civics, and Economics, and the ability to make lessons engaging and easy for students to understand. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver effective Social Studies lessons aligned with the school curriculum. Teach subjects including History, Geography, Civics, and Economics. Use interactive teaching methods to enhance student understanding and participation. Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments. Evaluate student performance through tests, projects, and class activities. Encourage critical thinking and discussions about social, historical, and geographical topics. Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment in the classroom. Provide regular feedback to students and parents regarding academic progress. Participate in school meetings, academic planning, and extracurricular activities. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Social Studies / History / Geography / Political Science. B.Ed preferred. Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience in middle or secondary school. Strong communication and classroom management skills. Preferred Skills: Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and engaging way. Use of creative teaching techniques such as discussions, presentations, and projects.
