The Position



ElectroRoute is seeking to appoint an HR Executive on a 12-month fixed-term contract to provide maternity cover within the HR team. The successful candidate will be responsible for payroll and benefits administration, while also delivering broad HR support across the organisation.


Payroll Processing / Benefit Management


  • You will be responsible for the accurate, timely, and compliant delivery of payroll across designated countries or entities, acting as a key payroll specialist who will own end-to-end payroll processing which includes:
    • including the review and validation of payroll inputs and outputs,
    • coordination of payroll calendars and statutory deadlines,
    • the processing of all payroll changes such as new hires, terminations, salary changes, bonuses, benefits, leaves.
    • Prepare and validate payroll submissions for our payroll providers
    • Completing salary analysis and preparing journals for finance.
  • Ensure full compliance with payroll legislation, including tax, pensions, BIK, and other statutory obligations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll and employee records on payroll and HRIS.
  • Respond to payroll queries from employees, providing clear explanations and timely resolutions
  • Work closely with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless payroll integration and data accuracy
  • Carry out payroll audits and investigate and resolve discrepancies
  • Administration, reconciliation and payment of third-party payroll deductions to relevant pension and healthcare providers
  • Completion of forms relating to Department of Social Protection and mortgage applications

 

HR Executive



  • Support and promote the company culture by championing organisational values across the business.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to employee HR queries.
  • Coordinate recruitment activities for internship, temporary, and permanent roles.
  • Support the onboarding process for new hires, including contract preparation and ensuring a smooth transition into the organisation.
  • Administer employee benefits, including healthcare, pension, and related schemes.
  • Prepare and issue employee documentation across all stages of the employment lifecycle.
  • Maintain accurate HR records, reporting, and documentation within BambooHR.
  • Provide general HR administrative support, including employee letters and document management.
  • Coordinate internal company communications and HR-related sessions as required.
  • Manage recruitment administration, including job advertising, agency coordination, interview scheduling, and interview support.
  • Support employees with visa and work permit administration where required.
  • Assist in delivering employee wellbeing initiatives and engagement activities.
  • Deliver induction training, performance management training, and other HR training programmes.
  • Manage relationships with external HR vendors and service providers.
  • Work collaboratively with the HR team to foster employee engagement, team spirit, and a positive workplace culture, including supporting company events and celebrations.

 

The Successful Candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:



  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years HR or payroll experience
  • Third level qualification in Payroll, HR, Business or related discipline is desirable.
  • Good planning and organisational skills
  • High level of accuracy and exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Strong administrative and document management skills
  • Use of Bamboo system or other HRIS
  • Flexible and eager to learn material in new fields and develop new work practices
  • Ability to work independently while contributing positively as part of a team

Location: The role will be based in Dublin and will be hybrid (3 days in the office)
