IT Systems Coordinator

We are seeking an entry-level IT Systems Coordinator to join our IT team! In this role, you will work closely with the IT Manager to support and coordinate technological initiatives that enhance company operations. This position combines hands-on technical support with project coordination and offers an excellent opportunity to learn, grow, and take ownership of improvements that drive innovation, efficiency, and user experience across all departments. We are looking for a motivated go-getter who is eager to learn, isn’t afraid to ask questions, and is confident in making suggestions or recommending changes as you identify better ways to work.

Job Description:

  • Collaborate with the IT Manager to plan, coordinate, and execute IT projects such as system upgrades, technology rollouts, and process automation initiatives.
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement within IT operations and recommend solutions that enhance efficiency, security, and scalability.
  • Provide end-user and systems support that directly impact productivity, operational efficiency, and data reliability across the organization.
  • Configure, deploy, and maintain hardware and software for employees, including computers, phones, and network-connected devices.
  • Manage and track IT assets, software licensing, and equipment lifecycle to ensure accuracy and availability.
  • Assist with procurement and vendor coordination for IT equipment and services.
  • Support the implementation and documentation of IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Monitor system performance and support security best practices including access controls, endpoint protection, and secure configuration of systems.
  • Partner cross-functionally with all Divisions to understand technology needs and deliver effective and efficient solutions.
  • Availability to work on-site with travel between St. Louis based facilities required.

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or equivalent combination of education and certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft, or Cisco).
  • 0–3 years of experience in an IT systems, infrastructure, or support role (entry-level candidates/new graduates are encouraged to apply).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the initiative to take ownership, try new approaches, and follow through.
  • Exposure to IT-related projects through school, internships, labs, or work experience; comfortable making suggestions and proposing improvements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, networking concepts, and cloud-based tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and see projects through to completion.
  • Willingness and eagerness to learn—staying current with emerging technologies, asking questions, and continuously improving technical skills.

Physical Demands:

  • Extending: Extend self in a direction to complete a task.
  • Stationary Position: Remaining in one position for sustained periods of time.
  • Moving: Moving to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.
  • Fine Motor Skills: Using fingers for tasks such as typing, picking, or pinching, rather than full hand movements.
  • Transporting: Moving objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position-to-position. Objects can be up to forty-five pounds in weight.
  • Manual Handling: Gripping, grasping, or applying pressure to objects using fingers and palms.
  • Operating: Using tools and equipment including a work computer and other office devices such as printers, calculators, etc.
  • Repetitive motion: Engaging in recurring movements of the wrists, hands, or fingers, such as typing or assembling components.
  • Light work: Exerting up to twenty pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to ten pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than sedentary work and the worker is primarily in a stationary position, the job is rated for light work.
