Minimum Required Education and Experience

High School Diploma and minimum of 2 years of experience in an office or related environment.

 

Job Duties

✓Provide front office support to the Units represented
✓Maintain the Unit's calendar/schedule, anticipate annual cycle of required meetings and reports across academic year and ensure that the Chair completes those items in a timely manner
✓Maintain the faculty, staff, and department digital records (annual reports, assessment reports, and external reviews for the department)
✓Maintain strict confidentiality related to personnel and student needs
✓Assist faculty, as needed, in summarizing department level reports
✓On board new faculty and staff within the Unit, including training and meetings with key offices
✓Event planning and communication for Unit office(s) (e.g., faculty meetings, graduation events, etc.)
✓Support University Communications liaison to the College in maintenance of the Unit webpages
✓Reflects a unified voice of the College in the operations and communications with other offices on campus and throughout higher education.
✓Train and supervise student workers within the Unit's office
