HR & ISO Officer

Our client is seeking an experienced HR & ISO Officer to join their Krugersdorp, Gauteng team Manage recruitment, selection, interviewing, onboarding, and induction processes Prepare employment contracts, job descriptions, and HR documentations Manage employee relations, disciplinary processes, and grievance procedures Provide guidance on South African labour legislation and HR best practices Liaise with unions and employee representatives Coordinate training and development activities Maintain the Skills Matrix, Training Matrix, training records, and competency assessments Support performance management and employee development initiatives Maintain accurate employee files, leave records, and attendance records on the Uniclox clock system Provide payroll input and HR administrative support Process weekly payroll for wage employees using Pastel Payroll Coordinate Employment Equity activities and Skills Development requirements Support Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and Annual Training Report (ATR) submissions Maintain HR legal and statutory registers Support Occupational Health and Safety initiatives Prepare monthly HR reports and monitor absenteeism and labour turnover Ensure compliance with company policies and ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949 requirements Implement, maintain, and continuously improve ISO 14001 and SHEQ management systems Maintain HR-related requirements to ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949 standards Requirements Grade 12 Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, Psychology, Labour Relations, or a related field (NQF Level 6) Minimum of 5 years' HR experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably gained in the automotive industry Sound knowledge of, and practical experience in, South African labour legislation Practical experience and knowledge of Health & Safety, SHEQ, ISO 14001, ISO 9001:2015, and IATF 16949 Experience in implementing, maintaining, and managing ISO 14001 and SHEQ requirements Experience in disciplinary hearings, recruitment, payroll administration, and training Pastel Payroll experience will be advantageous Experience liaising with unions
