Maintenance Supervisor - FMCG

Our client is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join the Coega, Port Elizabeth team, · Execute preventative and reactive maintenance activities to ensure equipment uptime · Support implementation of planned maintenance schedules and TPM initiatives · Monitor equipment performance and report on downtime and recurring issues · Assist with root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions · Ensure availability of critical spares and assist with stock control · Supervise and coordinate daily activities of artisans and technicians · Provide hands-on technical support during breakdowns and maintenance work · Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and company policies · Assist in maintaining maintenance records and reporting on KPIs · Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant efficiency · Coordinate with production teams to minimize downtime and disruptions · Supervise contractors on-site where required Requirements · Grade 12 · Trade Tested Millwright / Electrician · Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a maintenance environment within FMCG manufacturing · Experience working on high-speed production lines · Exposure to automated systems, PLCs, packaging equipment, and utilities · Experience in food manufacturing (preferred) · Sound knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems · Basic proficiency in MS Office · Valid driver’s license and own transport · Must reside in the Port Elizabeth / Uitenhage area · Must be willing to work every second weekend and perform standby duties
