Production Supervisor (Agriculture & FMCG)

We are looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Production Supervisor to join our clients' agricultural operation in Coega, Port Elizabeth. This role is ideal for a strong team leader who can oversee daily production activities, ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards, and support a well-organized, efficient production environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving team performance, maintaining operational excellence, and supporting continuous skills development within the workforce. Responsibilities: Oversee and coordinate daily production operations within assigned plant sections Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and production quality standards Execute production planning in line with operational requirements Supervise and manage production staff, including shift planning and staffing levels Maintain discipline and support sound labour relations practice Monitor and enforce housekeeping and sanitation standards across production lines Facilitate on-the-job training and upskilling of production staff Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Quality, Maintenance, Logistics) to ensure seamless production flow Requirements Grade 12 A relevant tertiary qualification (advantageous) Minimum of 3 years’ supervisory experience in the food, citrus, dairy, or packhouse industry Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport Willingness to work shifts and extended hours as required Residing in or near the Port Elizabeth / Uitenhage area
