About the Role
~1 min readThe Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Officer is responsible for the leadership, strategic direction, and administration of the Bank’s CRA program. This role involves high-level strategy, specifically developing, implementing and managing the Bank’s CRA Strategic Plan, while overseeing data reporting, community partnership development, and examination management.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Lead the development, implementation, and multi-year management and monitoring of the Bank’s CRA Strategic Plan. Ensure goals are measurable, attainable, and aligned with the bank’s business model.
- →Provide quarterly reporting on performance against goals, emerging regulatory risks, and community impact.
- →Maintain and update the CRA Policy and Public File, ensuring full transparency and compliance with applicable rules.
- →Identify and manage high-impact relationships with Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs), non-profits, and government agencies to identify and facilitate Qualified Investments and Community Development Loans.
- →Develop creative service opportunities for staff that leverage the Bank’s unique technology expertise to benefit Low-to-Moderate Income (LMI) individuals and small businesses and LMI communities.
- →Conduct ongoing community needs assessments to ensure the Bank’s CRA activities are responsive to the specific needs of its Assessment Area.
- →Lead the timely and accurate annual filing of CRA data in accordance with regulatory deadlines.
- →Coordinate the administration of CRA examinations and serve as the primary point of contact for regulators.
- →Coordinate with Internal Audit and third-party reviewers to proactively identify and remediate program weaknesses.
Requirements
~1 min read- 7+ years of experience in banking compliance, with at least 5 years focused on CRA management at a $2B+ institution.
- Expert-level knowledge of the CRA (Regulation BB) and fair lending (ECOA/UDAAP).
- Proven track record of developing or managing a CRA Strategic Plan is highly preferred.
- Experience with managing the CRA compliance examination process and engaging with regulators.
- Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, finance, public policy or related field. CRCM (Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager) designation is strongly preferred.
What We Offer
~1 min readThe budgeted annual salary range for this position is $108,000 to $144,200. Actual annual salary will be determined based on qualifications, skills, experience, and level assessed during the hiring process and may fall outside of the range shown. Additional compensation for this role may include a bonus and restricted stock units. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in Company benefits, described in more detail here.
