ENSCO’s Contracts and Procurement (C&P) Division manages all aspects of the Company’s contracts, subcontracts, and vendor agreements, as well as proposal support, risk management, and compliance across a diverse portfolio of research and development, systems integration, technical services, and software and hardware delivery programs. 
 
The Contracts department is seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator to support ENSCO’s Surface Transportation Group (STG Rail) with a primary focus on Rail Commercial and International customers. This is a hybrid position requiring in-office presence three (3) days per week.  This role is best suited for a high-performing individual contributor who is self-directed, highly detail-oriented, and an effective communicator across all levels of the organization. This role includes various administrative activities relating to purchase orders and contract agreement and coordinates submission to Finance for Costpoint entry. The position performs contract review and redlining and participates in negotiations of NDA's and commercial and international agreements. The role also manages customer portals to maintain active registrations and required documentation.
 
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently administer the full life cycle of commercial contracts, including review, negotiation, execution, modification, and closeout
- Support proposal preparation and submission, including review of solicitations, terms and conditions, and cost/price inputs as applicable
- Serve as a key point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear, responsive, and professional communication
- Analyze contractual terms and identify, assess, and resolve risks and issues, providing practical, business-oriented recommendations
- Review, and negotiate a variety of agreements, including commercial contracts, NDAs, teaming agreements, and vendor agreements
- Administer contract modifications, amendments, and change requests with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Monitor contract performance, including deliverables, milestones, and funding, and proactively address discrepancies or risks
- Maintain well-organized contract files and documentation in accordance with company policies
- Collaborate effectively with program management, finance, legal, and senior leadership, communicating clearly both upward and across teams
- Ensure compliance with company policies and contractual obligations, applying sound judgment in ambiguous situations
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of business objectives

Qualifications Required:
* Bachelor's or equivalent with 7+ years of relevant experience in contract administration, with an emphasis on commercial contracting environments 
* Demonstrated ability to operate independently and manage multiple priorities with minimal oversight
* Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational discipline
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to tailor messaging to different levels of the organization
* Proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex contractual language and develop actionable solutions
* Experience negotiating a range of commercial agreement types (e.g., fixed price, T&M, service and product agreements, NDAs, teaming agreements)        
* Strong business judgment with the ability to balance risk, compliance, and operational objectives

Qualifications Desired:
Experience supporting commercial customers in technology, R&D, or services-based environments
 
International contracts experience, including exposure to cross-border agreements or foreign subsidiaries
 
Experience with Sharepoint and other Cloud based software
 
Professional certification (e.g., NCMA CPCM, CCCM)
