USC – Accounts Receivable Analyst Job Summary The Accounting Analyst position is an in-office role critical to ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting across multiple business units. The ideal candidate is one with strong analytical capabilities, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and a collaborative mindset to support strategic financial decisions. The Accounting Analyst is responsible for managing general ledger activities, preparing and analyzing financial statements, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. Additionally, performs detailed variance analysis, reconcile accounts, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and contribute to audit readiness. This role also involves identifying opportunities for process improvement to enhance operational efficiency. This is a high-impact role that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment, working closely with cross-functional teams across various business units, providing financial insights and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Pay Range Range $23.00 - $25.00 USD Internal Relationships The Accounts Receivable Analyst serves as a key financial partner across all levels of the organization, with a strong emphasis on collaboration with Managers, Directors, and Controllers. This role also works closely with Operations and Supply Chain teams to deliver meaningful insights into financial performance, supporting strategic decision-making through detailed variance analysis and forecasting. External Relationships The Accounting Analyst may interact with state and local government agencies to address matters related to taxation issues. This responsibility requires a strong understanding of regulatory compliance and effective communication to ensure timely and accurate resolution of financial obligations. Specific Responsibilities and Accountabilities Generate customer invoices timely and accurately Bill invoices, rebills, and credits to the customer Review of monthly revenue generated by invoices Create purchase requisitions, obtain approvals, and submit proof of delivery Support ad-hoc requests, reports, and projects as requested Other Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities Business Ethics – Fully understands Ensign’s ethics policy and its application in all business dealings including contractual agreements and contract negotiations Business Policies - Understands and agrees to follow all of Ensign’s Policy and Directives and procedures as set forth in the Ensign Company Policy and Basic Directives Handbook for Employees Drug-free workplace - Conforms to a drug-free workplace, not be under the influence of mind-altering prescription or non-prescription drugs, including alcohol and other drugs of abuse. Qualifications An analytical mind with good math skills Good knowledge of legislation relevant to accounting and payroll (such as Sarbanes-Oxley Act or FLSA) Diploma/BSc/ BA in accounting, finance or relevant field not required but is a PLUS CPP or FPC certification a PLUS.
