Senior Software Engineer
Quick Summary
Knowledge Platform & Taxonomy Design and build a structured taxonomy for domain knowledge Convert unstructured knowledge from Helpjuice and internal systems into structured,
We’re seeking curious, growth minded thinkers to help shape our vision, structures and systems; playing a key-role as we launch into our ambitious future. If you’re invigorated by our mission, values, and drive to change the world — we’d love to have you apply.
About the Role
~1 min readWe are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to build and scale a centralized Knowledge Automation Platform that serves as a foundational layer for our Product, Engineering, and Machine Learning initiatives.
Our Knowledge team maintains critical domain expertise currently spread across native systems and Helpjuice. As the business scales across brands, regions, and product categories, this knowledge must evolve from static articles into a structured, automated, and continuously maintained taxonomy that remains accurate and consumable over time.
In this role, you will design and implement systems that power knowledge lifecycle management, automate audits and updates, and transform unstructured content into structured, machine-readable data that downstream Engineering and ML systems can reliably consume.
This is a full-stack role, with significant ownership across backend systems, data models, automation workflows, and frontend tools for managing and visualizing knowledge.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Design and build a structured taxonomy for domain knowledge
- Convert unstructured knowledge from Helpjuice and internal systems into structured, machine-readable formats
- Ensure the knowledge platform accurately reflects evolving products, variants, and attributes across brands and regions
- Design and evolve data models that capture complex, highly connected relationships, leveraging relational, document, or graph-based data models where appropriate
- Build systems to support the full lifecycle of knowledge, including creation, review, updates, and deprecation.
- Implement mechanisms to track knowledge freshness (e.g., last updated timestamps, confidence levels)
- Automatically flag content that requires review or validation
- Prevent knowledge obsolescence through automated review and update workflows
- Automate updates to the knowledge base when:
- New variants or attributes are introduced
- Taxonomy structures change
- External updates occur
- Ensure draft and published knowledge stays in sync with taxonomy and source data.
- Partner closely with Knowledge, Engineering, and ML teams to ensure the taxonomy and data structures support downstream use cases.
- Build scalable and maintainable systems that enable other teams to create flows, logic, and intelligence on top of the knowledge platform.
- 5–10 years of professional experience in full-stack software development
- Strong experience with Python, using frameworks such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI
- Experience building modern frontend applications using React or similar SPA frameworks
- Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms
- Experience building scalable services, APIs, data-driven applications, or automation pipelines
- Proven ability to design structured data models, schemas, and workflows
- Experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases
- Experience modeling complex relationships using graph databases or graph-like data structures (e.g., Neo4j, Neptune, or equivalent patterns)
- Experience working with content management systems, knowledge bases, or large structured datasets
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
- Familiarity with data pipelines, automation, or scraping workflows
- Exposure to ML-adjacent platforms or structured data for AI/ML consumption
- Experience scaling systems across multiple brands or domains
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and CI/CD pipelines.
