About the Role
~1 min readThe Validation Lead is the most senior individual contributor on the Validation team, responsible for overseeing daily performance, training quality, and operational readiness. This role ensures validators meet accuracy, throughput, and SLA targets while serving as the primary point of contact for coaching, escalations, scheduling, and cross-functional alignment.
You will act as a subject matter expert in validation workflows, helping scale quality operations while maintaining consistency across a global, distributed team.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Monitor validator performance against KPIs including accuracy, throughput, TTV, and SLA adherence.
- →Provide real-time coaching, QA feedback, and structured performance support to validators.
- →Oversee onboarding and ongoing training to ensure competency across validation scopes.
- →Act as the first point of contact for workflow, SOP, and policy questions.
- →Own validator scheduling and coverage planning to align staffing with volume and time-zone needs.
- →Identify under- or over-capacity risks and escalate operational gaps to Ops leadership.
- →Triage and escalate quality, tooling, or workflow issues impacting validation performance.
- →Liaise with Engineering on dashboard or tooling issues affecting validation workflows.
- →Liaise with Authentication teams on style-specific guidance, brand updates, and policy clarifications.
- →Surface recurring edge cases and error trends to Knowledge and ML partners for continuous improvement
- Senior-level experience with 8+ years in quality assurance or a similar operational workflow.
- Demonstrated success coaching peers and improving performance against measurable KPIs.
- Strong understanding of SOP-driven environments and high-accuracy decision making.
- Experience with scheduling, capacity planning, or shift coordination in a global team.
- Comfort using dashboards, performance data, and QA reviews to drive decisions.
- Clear, professional communication in English with the ability to work cross-functionally across time zones.
- Proactive, organized, and able to manage escalations while maintaining day-to-day operational flow.

Individual compensation decisions are based on several factors, including experience level, skill set, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company. Based on these factors, we expect most of the candidates offered roles at our company to fall healthily throughout the range.
