Staff Accountant

Enumerate is looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team!

As part of our goal to create and support the best community association management software, Enumerate offers accounting solutions for clients. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for performing bank reconciliations and preparing financial statements for Enumerate’s Financial Services clients. This is a hands-on role that requires experience working in the HOA/COA industry. The ideal candidate has a strong attention to detail,, a passion for continuous improvement, and a proven ability to leverage technology to improve efficiency, quality, and business outcomes.

• →Perform bank reconciliations for associations involving multiple bank accounts
• →Prepare and issue financial statements for associations ensuring accuracy and timely completion of task
• →Prepare necessary supporting schedules including accrued expense and prepaid expense
• →Complete quality assurance checklist before issuance of financials
• →Update cover memo to financials with essential items of note for current month financials being issued
• →Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents
• →Maintain accounting controls through careful attention to policies and procedures
• →Research and respond to inquiries related to financials statements prepared
• →Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
• →Direct participate internal and external audits to ensure compliance
• →Support month-end and year-end close process

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/appropriate field of study or comparable work experience 
• 3+ years of experience as a Staff Accountant
• Property management accounting experience is a bonus!
• Experience with creating financial statements, general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process 
• Experience with accounting software
• Speed and accuracy are essential for this role which requires multiple financials prepared and issued daily
