We’re seeking a Senior Paralegal with strong PERM case experience to manage high-volume labor certification cases in a fully remote environment. The Senior Paralegal will independently analyze information and documents and prepare/compile immigration casework for attorney review. The Senior Paralegal will also handle client/foreign national communications regarding case processing and status.

Responsibilities

  • Manage high-volume PERM cases end-to-end
  • Ensure effective document intake: i.e., review documents for validity and sufficiently analyze immigration status based on documents provided.
  • Ensure accountability for the drafting and monitoring of PERM casework.
  • Flag any potential/foreseeable case-related issues with Attorney and/or Senior Case Manager, in a timely manner
  • Communicate with clients and foreign nationals
  • Track case progress using Envoy technology
  • Flag any ideas for process improvement to the appropriate Attorney/Case Manager.
  • Swiftly draft responses to requests for information from government agencies.
  • Respond to client communication requests – either via client company representatives or directly with the foreign national.

 

  • 5–6+ years of experience working as an Immigration Paralegal drafting employment-based petitions with a PERM focus
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
  • Experience handling large caseloads independently
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office and case management systems
  • Experience in communicating directly with (HR staff) and/or foreign nationals regarding case requirements, including work on key accounts/clients 
  • A genuine interest in US immigration, with a desire to treat clients & foreign nationals with respect and an empathetic approach
