As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner. You will take orders, mix and serve beverages, maintain a clean and well-stocked bar, and provide exceptional customer service. You will also be responsible for checking identification to verify legal drinking age and following all applicable laws and company policies related to the service of alcoholic beverages.
Strong communication, multitasking, teamwork, and customer service skills are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities

- →Mix and garnish beverages according to established recipes and portion-control standards.
- →Present and serve beverages to guests in a professional and friendly manner.
- →Check guests for proper identification and serve alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local, and company laws and regulations.
- →Accurately total, process, and collect payments from guests, including using the point-of-sale system, handling cash, processing credit and debit cards, making change, and processing gift certificates, cards, and vouchers.
- →Stock and maintain the bar, including beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice, produce, and other necessary supplies.
- →Submit orders or create requisition forms for liquor, beer, and other bar-related supplies as needed.
- →Cut, store, and maintain the quality and freshness of beverage-related perishables.
- →Prepare fruit and other garnishes prior to opening the bar.
- →Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming bar area throughout the shift.
- →Monitor beverage inventory and communicate supply needs to management.
- →Respond professionally and appropriately to inebriated guests and use sound judgment when refusing service to guests who are intoxicated or disruptive.
- →Follow all safety, sanitation, responsible alcohol service, and company policies and procedures.
- →Provide excellent guest service and contribute to a positive experience for all Sun Outdoors guests.
This is a full-time, year-round position at Sun Outdoors Myrtle Beach in Conway, SC. Flexible scheduling is required, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
