Project Manager II, Professional Services

About the role
We are looking for a Project Manager II, Professional Services to join us in Bengaluru. This role sits within our Professional Services team and supports the delivery of client and internal projects across EquiLend’s global business. You will manage defined projects and workstreams, helping teams plan delivery, track progress, manage risks and keep stakeholders informed. 

You will work closely with technology, operations, product, business and client-facing teams to support well-structured delivery across our product and client delivery ecosystem. This is a hands-on project management role suited to someone who can bring organisation, clear communication and delivery discipline to multiple priorities. 

What you’ll do 

• Manage defined projects and workstreams, ensuring milestones, actions and deliverables are tracked through to completion.  
• Build and maintain project plans, trackers, dashboards, status reports and governance materials that provide clear visibility on progress, risks, issues and dependencies.  
• Coordinate project governance activity, including regular status meetings, stakeholder updates and project review forums.  
• Monitor timelines, deliverables, risks and issues, escalating concerns promptly and supporting practical resolution.  
• Work with internal teams and external clients where required to provide clear updates, manage actions and support delivery alignment.  
• Facilitate collaboration across technology, operations, product, business and client-facing teams to keep project activity moving.  
• Support release planning and implementation coordination by helping teams confirm readiness, communication needs and delivery steps.  
• Prepare project reports and presentation materials for internal stakeholders, client updates and governance forums.  
• Follow PMO delivery frameworks, project standards and governance requirements throughout the project lifecycle.  
• Identify opportunities to improve project tracking, reporting and delivery consistency as project volume increases across the India region.  
• Provide local delivery support for India-based and global project activity.  

What we’re looking for 

• 4+ years’ experience in project management, project coordination, PMO delivery or a comparable role, ideally within fintech, financial services technology, capital markets or a commercial technology environment.  
• Practical experience managing smaller projects or defined workstreams with ownership of delivery timelines, actions and stakeholder communication.  
• Strong knowledge of project planning, milestone tracking, governance, risk management, issue management and dependency management.  
• Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, with the ability to create clear project trackers, reports and presentation materials.  
• Experience using project reporting, dashboarding or data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau or similar platforms would be beneficial.  
• Confidence coordinating project status meetings, governance calls and stakeholder updates.  
• Ability to identify risks, dependencies and delivery blockers early and support practical mitigation plans.  
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.  
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage several ongoing actions, updates and priorities in parallel.  
• Comfortable working with cross-functional teams across technology, operations, product, business and client-facing groups.  
• Familiarity with investment banking, securities lending, capital markets or financial technology is preferred.
