## Join our Team About this opportunity: We are looking for a CORE Engineer – Performance to join our Managed Services Operations team. In this role, you will drive performance-related activities across multi-vendor Packet Core environments covering 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G networks. You will work with platforms from Cisco, Ericsson, Huawei, and Nokia, ensuring network nodes deliver optimal performance and an exceptional end-user experience. What you will do: * Education: Degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering * Experience: 3 to 8 years in Telecom Packet Core domain * Strong understanding of 2G/3G/4G/5G telecom network architectures * Hands-on experience with SGSN, GGSN, DNS, PCRF, MME, ePDG, and AAA nodes * In-depth product knowledge of Cisco, Ericsson, and Nokia MMEs & Gateways * Proficiency across at least two vendors — Cisco, Huawei, or Ericsson * Configuration expertise in OSPF, IP pool management, OCS/DRA/PCRF, LAC Barring, CSFB, SRVCC, APN creation, BSC/RNC migration, and TAI-DB management * Knowledge of VoLTE/IMS configurations in MME and GGSN * Familiarity with Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) configurations * Awareness of latest technologies — CUPS, F5, Cloud Core, and 5G SA The skills you bring: * In-depth knowledge of GSM/WCDMA/LTE architecture and call flows * Strong understanding of PACO network architecture — GPRS, 3G, EPC/LTE, and VoLTE call flows * Expertise in Packet Core KPI troubleshooting, trace analysis, and end-user perception improvement * Hands-on troubleshooting on Nokia, Cisco, and Ericsson Packet Core elements * Working knowledge of interfaces: Gb, Gr, Gi, Gn, IuPS, Gx, Gy, Gz, S1, S6a, S11, SGs, S10 * Sound understanding of SS7 network, 3GPP PS Core protocols and RF GPRS network * Good grasp of Service Awareness and differentiated charging concepts * Ability to define and execute PACO KPI improvement plans independently * Proactive, self-driven approach with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Why join Ericsson?At Ericsson, you´ll have an outstanding opportunity.
