We develop 5G, LTE, WCDMA, GSM, Network solutions to operators all over the world. Lund is our base but the world is our arena meaning a multisite organization with offices in Ottawa, Zagreb, Beijing, Nanjing, Chengdu, Lodz and Stockholm. We are now increasing our team footprint and due to this, we are looking for new colleagues with a passion and interest in C++ and 5G development! What you will do You will join a multi-functional development team with responsibility from pre-study to customer acceptance test for new functionality. The team systemise, design and test the software on the Radio Units and take joint responsibility for all team tasks. In addition, you will: Take on complex technological problems with the power of your colleagues Use analytic thinking to achieve the best possible solutions for your team Take part in the end-to-end development, working closely with software and hardware teams Work with our Radio software application using C++ Work with development of a Java-based test framework, along with GIT based development framework The skills you bring Your personal qualities are important for us, and we believe that you are productive, creative and that you interact easily with other people. In addition, you can plan and drive your own work to reach common goals together with your team. We are seeking you who wish to explore your career with us and have less than 2 years of relevant experience. Curiosity about new technologies and like to work in a fast-paced and agile software environment Open minded, like to share your knowledge and are a true team-player. BSc or MSc degree in a technical field, such as Computer Science, Electrical or Electronic Engineering or Wireless Communication or the equivalent level of knowledge Programming experience using object-oriented languages primarily C++, however Java is also beneficial considering the test development parts Good understanding of Linux and familiar with related software development tools, along with embedded software is considered a merit Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Why join Ericsson?At Ericsson, you´ll have an outstanding opportunity.
