PMO Project Intelligence Intern/Co-op Start Date: 11th January, 2027 Duration: 12-16 months (for co-ops) | 8 months+ (for interns, with potential for extension) Location: Ottawa, Ontario About this opportunity: Ericsson's RPCA Project Management Office is seeking a technically curious and innovative Co-op Student to support our AI and digital transformation journey. This role offers the opportunity to apply Artificial Intelligence, data analytics, and software development skills to improve project management, reporting automation, and project/business intelligence across a portfolio of radio product development projects. What you will do: • Develop AI-powered solutions to automate PMO processes and reporting. • Build dashboards, analytics, and project intelligence tools using enterprise data. • Create proof-of-concepts using Microsoft Copilot, KIRO, Generative AI, and automation technologies. • Develop scripts, applications, and integrations that improve project execution and decision making. • Support digital transformation initiatives involving JIRA, Confluence, Power BI, and KIRO. • Analyze project data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities. The skills you bring: • Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, AI, or a related discipline. • Programming experience in Python, Java, C/C++, or JavaScript. • Knowledge of data analytics, software development, and machine learning fundamentals. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Passion for AI, automation, and continuous improvement. Preferred qualifications: • Experience with AI/ML projects, data analytics, or dashboard development. • Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, Power BI, Azure AI, Power Automate, JIRA, SQL, or Git. • Experience developing web applications, automation tools, or data pipelines. • Preferred work-term: 12 or 16 months / 5-days work from office Why join Ericsson? The salary range for this position is: • Bachelors: $25.50/hr - $34.50/hr • Masters: $37/hr
