Verification Engineer

## Join our Team About this opportunity: Are you an early-career engineer with an interest in Linux, networking, programming, and automation, and a desire to contribute to next-generation 5G and 6G technologies? We are looking for a Verification Engineer to join our HW Module Verification team in Stockholm. In this role, you will verify Ericsson's RAN Compute platforms and help ensure the functionality, performance, robustness, and quality of products used in mobile networks worldwide. You will work closely with software developers, system engineers, hardware designers, and experienced verification engineers in a collaborative environment that encourages continuous learning, innovation, and professional growth. What you will do: • Verify and troubleshoot software and hardware platform functionality. • Develop and maintain automated test solutions. • Analyze logs, traffic traces, and test results. • Investigate technical issues and contribute to root-cause analysis. • Work with Linux-based systems and networking technologies. • Improve verification methods, tools, and automation. • Apply AI-assisted engineering to coding, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and productivity. • Collaborate across software, hardware, system, and verification teams. The skills you bring: • BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Embedded Systems, or a related field. • 0-3 years of professional experience. • Programming experience in C. • Basic Linux knowledge and understanding of networking fundamentals. • Knowledge of Git version control. • Strong analytical thinking, combined with a passion for learning, innovation, and continuous professional growth. • Good communication skills in English. • Curiosity, initiative, and a desire to develop new technical competencies. Meritorious experience • POSIX process handling and socket programming. • Linux shell scripting, such as Bash or csh. • Basic Python programming. • Experience with GCC, CMake, Ninja, or BitBake. • Linux kernel or driver fundamentals. • GitHub, GitLab, or Gerrit code-review workflows. • Test automation and CI/CD concepts. • AI-assisted coding and software development. • Engineering prompting for coding, debugging, testing, technical analysis, and learning. • Using AI to generate, review, and improve code, test cases, automation scripts, and documentation. • Applying AI in daily engineering work to automate workflows and improve productivity. • Critically evaluating, testing, and validating AI-generated solutions. • Using AI responsibly while maintaining security, quality, and sound engineering judgment. You are curious, analytical, and eager to learn. You enjoy working with software, automation, and networking technologies while continuously developing your skills.
