•Minimum 7 years' experience in electrical engineering within the building services sector.

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

•Working towards or already Chartered Engineer status (CEng or equivalent). Advantage but not essential

•Proven experience leading projects and coordinating multidisciplinary design teams.

•Experience across various sectors such as commercial, healthcare, life sciences, or data centres preferred.

•Familiarity with CIBSE and IET codes of practice.

•Proficient in software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Dialux, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.

•Experience in producing detailed electrical load calculations and system coordination.

•Lead the electrical design on projects, managing delivery from concept through to construction and handover.

•Champion Ethos’ electrical design standards and drive adoption of innovative technologies and sustainable solutions.

•Coordinate and manage a multidisciplinary engineering team, ensuring high-quality output and timely delivery.

•Liaise with clients, architects, project managers, and contractors, acting as the key point of contact for electrical design matters.

•Prepare technical specifications and fully detailed tender packages, including reports, analysis and recommendations.

•Oversee and perform design and installation quality checks in line with project requirements and industry regulations.

•Develop project scopes in collaboration with the design team and clients.

•Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and graduates.

•Participate in design reviews, technical workshops, and site inspections as needed.
