POSITION SUMMARY: The Maintenance and Environment, Health, and Safety Coordinator will be responsible for supporting all health and safety programs and initiatives to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for our employees and compliance with relevant regulations.
Maintenance Plan predictive and preventative maintenance work, aligning with departments to minimize disruption. Process and closure of Corrective Maintenance documents. Assist maintenance team with related problem solving and related documentation.
Responsibilities

- Process and closure of Corrective Maintenance documents.
- Assist maintenance team with related problem solving and related documentation.
- Assist manager with Project Planning and Gantt Chart development as well as Work Breakdown Deployment and CAPEX proposal and project execution, as assigned.
- Purchase requisition entry and tracking/monitoring spend to budget levels.
- Assist with plant layout change documents by working with cross-functional teams.
- Assist with job hazard analysis and pre-task hazard assessments.
- Manage spare parts inventory and equipment manual library.
- Work with Maintenance Team to drive 6S and Continuous Improvement to improve department service levels and Key Performance Indicators.
- Assist manager with Environmental, Health, and Safety tasks as assigned.
- Stay current with federal, state, and local regulations related to employee health and safety.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, FDA, and other relevant regulatory requirements specific to medical device manufacturing.
- Identify areas for improvement in health and safety practices and propose solutions.
- Provide health and safety training to employees, including new hire orientation, safety drills, and ongoing educational programs, as needed and under the direction of the EH&S Manager.
- Ensure employees are aware of and comply with safety procedures.
- Support the investigation of accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and prevent recurrence.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports on all incidents, maintain audit records as needed.
- Generate and present periodic reports to management and regulatory agencies.
- Support the Employee Safety Committee and collaborate with employees and managers to create a safe and healthy workplace.

Nice to Have

- In-depth knowledge of OSHA and EPA standards
- Proven experience in developing and implementing health and safety programs.
- Ongoing education on health and safety topics is required
