Excelsia Injury Care provides management services to a network of healthcare companies, supporting them in delivering comprehensive rehabilitation, diagnostic, surgical, and pain management services for individuals affected by post-traumatic neuro-musculoskeletal injuries. - Ensure customers' expectations are exceeded by directing and communicating patient needs effectively and efficiently
- Answer phone calls courteously, collect and document detailed information, and route phone calls appropriately based on office protocols
- Efficiently provide basic office administrative support tasks such as emails, updating spreadsheets, e-faxing, etc.
- Follow HIPAA regulations
- Communicate efficiently via phone and email
- Communicate information to patients regarding procedures being, or to be, performed
- Work as part of a team and also work independently
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Knowledge of insurance plans, workers’ compensation, personal injury, and HIPAA guidelines
Additional Skills/Competencies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of computer applications, including Windows, Outlook, and Microsoft Office
- Strong problem solving and organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task
- Confidence in working independently
- Typing – 50+ WPM
- Ability to effectively interact with doctors, attorneys, patients, and co-workers
