Deli Clerk

Deli Clerks provide excellent customer service at the deli counter and other deli stations. They perform basic food prep, package deli items and clean in the deli area.

• →Provides excellent, professional customer service
• →Produces prepared foods in accordance with PCC recipes, including grab-and-go items
• →Ensures department sanitation, cleanliness and safety standards are met

• →Responsible for maintaining hot bar, including presentation and production

• Proven ability to provide excellent, professional customer service
• Available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends
• Previous production cooking experience preferred
• Able to work in a fast pace kitchen environment
• Familiarity with specialty and prepared foods
• Excellent communication, organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be able to meet physical demands including standing, bending, twisting, repetitive motion and lifting 10-40lbs regularly
• A current Food Worker Card from the Washington State Department of Health is required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
