The Kitchen Supervisor oversees food production in the back of house F&B operations at E11EVEN Club Hotel & Residences, organizing kitchen processes to maintain high quality, safety, efficiency, and profitability. The Kitchen Supervisor trains and supervises the kitchen staff in a manner that meets the objectives set forth by the Executive Chef, Executive Sous Chef, and Chef de Cuisine.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- → Coordinate and supervise cook and kitchen staff activities.
- → Monitor the stock of kitchen food and supplies, and assist with inventory management.
- → Monitor the quality of food that is prepared.
- → Assist cooks and kitchen staff with various tasks.
- → Regulate how food is presented, created, and displayed.
- → Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to company and state regulations.
- → Comply with all nutrition, sanitation, and safety regulations and standards.
- → Report all unsafe working conditions, operational needs, and equipment or areas of the kitchen in need of repair to management.
- → Assist in managing workforce hours.
- → Assist with cost of goods sold.
- → Train new hires and coach employees as needed.
- → Perform other duties as assigned and modified at the manager’s discretion.
Requirements
~1 min read- High school or equivalent education required.
- One to two (1-2) years of restaurant experience or equivalent, including previous cooking and supervisory experience, preferred.
- Leadership skills.
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Operational knowledge of hospitality equipment.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and perform under pressure.
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
- Open availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- 8 paid holidays per year
- Up to 20 days of paid vacation per year, based on classification and length of service
- Paid Sick & Safe Time accrues at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked, with up to 72 hours of unused time carried over from one anniversary year to the next.
- 8 paid holidays per year; employees working in the City of Denver receive 64 hours of designated holiday time per calendar year
- Up to 20 days of paid vacation per year, based on classification and length of service
- 6 days or 48 hours of Paid Sick Leave per year, accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked.
- 8 paid holidays per year
- Up to 20 days of paid vacation per year, based on classification and length of service, capped at 1.5x annual accrual rate; non-supervisory employees working in the City of Los Angeles accrue up to 22 days of Compensated Time Off, based on length of service capped at 192 hours of combined PST and CTO.
- Paid Sick Time accrues at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked, unused time is carried over from one anniversary year to the next up to a maximum of 80 hours; employees working in the City of Los Angeles are provided 40 hours of Paid Sick Time annually on their anniversary, unused time is not carried over from one anniversary year to the next.

For such associates, eligibility for and the terms and conditions of benefits are governed by the applicable CBA and any applicable plan documents, and may differ from the benefits described above. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency, the terms of the applicable CBA and governing plan documents will control, as applicable.
