Plasma Operator in Meriden, KS (Meriden, KS)

General Responsibilities:

• Positions and clamps work piece against fixtures or to specified point on built in scale. 
• Identify and verify appropriate material.
• Programs machine per written program. 
• Starts machine and observes operation. 
• Must verify first piece, using tape measure, calipers, and any other measuring device to verify part conforms to print. 
• Must be able to do some minor maintenance. 
• Must be aware of safety considerations while operating machine.
• Must be able to examine part for quality.

• Read blueprints, count parts, match prints to parts
• Report labor hours by entering all applicable information in MieTrak.
• Follow written and oral instructions
