We are seeking a highly motivated Marketing Tech Engineer to join our team, reporting to the Marketing Tech Principal. In this role, you will be a technical engine behind our marketing architecture. Working collaboratively alongside our Data, Product and Engineering teams, your remit is focused on the technology, data collection infrastructure, and automation that powers our marketing. You will support the development of our front-end tracking implementation, backend API connections, and the building of internal marketing tools. This is a perfect role for a developer who wants to operate at the intersection of software engineering and digital marketing, with the opportunity to explore agentic AI engineering.
Tracking Infrastructure & Implementation: Work alongside our web and mobile engineering teams to maintain & implement tracking code. Ensuring our marketing campaigns receive pristine, accurate data.
Backend Automation & APIs: Utilize Python and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to maintain, troubleshoot, and improve marketing tools.
Technical Triage & Issue Resolution: Act as a technical investigator for the marketing team. You will dive into code to troubleshoot complex issues such as tag behaviour, server-side tracking, and Appsflyer mobile deep-linking.
AI & Internal Tool Development: Collaborate with the Marketing Tech Principal to build and deploy production-ready AI agents for internal use within the marketing org.
1+ years of experience in a technical or developer role, holding a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a closely related field.
Hands-on development skills across both the front-end (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and back-end (Python, SQL), with a good understanding of web protocols, REST APIs, JSON payloads, and webhooks.
Highly curious with a growth mindset; you are specifically interested in AI agents, context & prompt engineering, and multi-agent systems.
A fast learner who enjoys being exposed to new technologies and concepts.
(Bonus) Experience in web and app tracking implementation and tag management (Google Tag Manager + mobile measurement platforms like Appsflyer).
(Bonus) Solid experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools such as GitHub, as well as deploying containerized applications using Docker.
(Bonus) Experience with cloud computing, ideally GCP, but if not an equivalent, such as Azure or AWS.
