Salt Water Disposal Operator

The SWD (Saltwater Disposal) Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation, monitoring, and maintenance of saltwater disposal facilities and associated equipment.

• →Operate and monitor SWD facilities, pumps, tanks, piping, valves, and related equipment.
• →Monitor pressures, fluid levels, flow rates, and overall facility performance.
• →Operate, inspect, and troubleshoot positive displacement (PD) pumps.
• →Perform routine equipment inspections and identify mechanical or operational issues.
• →Troubleshoot pump failures, leaks, pressure issues, and other facility problems.
• →Perform basic preventative maintenance and coordinate repairs when needed.
• →Monitor tank levels and ensure fluids are safely transferred and disposed of.
• →Maintain accurate operating logs, readings, and inspection records.
• →Follow all company safety and environmental procedures.
• →Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• →Respond to after-hours callouts, alarms, equipment failures, and operational issues as required.
• →Work independently in the field and communicate issues to supervision in a timely manner.

• Previous Salt Water Disposal experience required
• Hands-on experience with positive displacement (PD) pumps highly preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working with pumps, tanks, valves, piping, and pressure systems.
• Ability to work independently and make safe operational decisions in the field.
• Must be willing and able to participate in an on-call rotation and respond to callouts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform the physical requirements of the position.
