Seasonal Meat & Seafood Team Member

We’re looking for seasonal team members who have the ability to work in our Grocery, Guest Service (Front End), Early Morning Production or Produce departments as well as counter support in our Deli, Bakery, or Meat & Seafood departments. 

The pay range for this position is $13.41 - $13.98 per hour.

• →Consistently provide excellent guest service, which includes: 
  • →Engaging with our guests to learn their wants and needs so that you can help them create their meal solution  
  • →Maintaining knowledge of products and weekly ad items throughout the store and working across departments to assist guests  
  • →Ability to safely handle food products for sampling to our guests
• →Create a hospitable shopping experience by merchandising and stocking our products and specialty items throughout the day, while also making sure nearby guests are assisted
• →Properly weighing and scanning of product, cash handling, and providing change were appropriate.
• →Gather shopping carts from the parking lot and assist in general housekeeping duties throughout the store
• →Slice and prepare a variety of the department’s meat, cheeses, and convenient meal solutions throughout the day, while maintaining quality product levels
• →Present self in a professional manner, including adhering to uniform standards 

This role is a seasonal opportunity designed to support our stores during key business periods. Team members in this role are hired on a temporary basis and are not considered regular, permanent team members and employment may conclude at the end of the seasonal business period.  This position requires the willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, days, evenings, and holidays.

• Experience in the retail, restaurant, or hospitality industries
• High School Diploma or equivalent

• A passion for providing extraordinary service
• At least 16 years of age or at least 18 years of age in our Deli, Bakery, Produce

• Repetitive hand/arm movements, grasping, bending, reaching, ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds by oneself, exposure to extreme temperatures
• Ability to use tools and equipment: knives, ladders, stepstools, box cutters, pallet jacks, and other equipment (unless under the age of 18)
• Required to spend long periods of time on feet and stand or walk without a break (for up to 4 hours or as required by law)
• Required to wear an approved hat, hair net, and/or beard guard, and personal protective equipment
