Why is this role important to Field Nation?
The Marketplace Compliance team takes a proactive approach to monitoring, educating, and guiding Field Nation users to ensure ongoing compliance across the platform. The Marketplace Compliance Coordinator plays a key role in advancing initiatives that require strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and a user-focused mindset. This position also serves as a critical contributor to projects that support Field Nation’s commitment to maintaining a compliant and ethical marketplace for both independent contractors and customers.
The Marketplace Compliance Coordinator will report to the Manager, Marketplace Compliance, and is a part of the greater Marketplace Provider team.
Collaborate with the Program Manager, Compliance to develop provider outreach campaigns related to compliance programs and initiatives
Communicate with Field Nation users to support compliance processes and ensure alignment with compliance requirements
Act as project manager, leading user outreach campaigns, including tracking and documentation of requirements against strict deadlines
Create and manage Field Nation marketplace compliance process documentation
Create and manage compliance reports, effectively tracking and analyzing necessary data and information as needed
Effectively manage work order compliance audits, and clearly articulate potential risk to internal staff to ensure compliance of 1099 marketplace
As needed, act as internal resource for work order compliance questions and guidance for other internal staff
Maintain up-to-date understanding of 1099 marketplace best practices and misclassification risk
Partner with the Marketplace Provider team with various marketplace initiatives
Fluent in English (speaking, reading and writing) as this role requires consistent communication with US team members, Field Nation users and on occasion, vendors
Collaboration with other teams at Field Nation including Marketplace Provider, Customer Success, Product and Marketing
Very detail-oriented and able to work independently
Strong understanding of data programs including Excel or Google Sheets
Experience using Google Suite preferred
Understanding of Salesforce preferred
Confident making outbound calls and receiving inbound calls
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work a night shift
Ability to work a hybrid schedule
This is a full-time, hybrid position, We come into the office on Mondays & Tuesdays.
Shift: 9 hours/day – 5 days per week (Mon-Fri)
Working hours generally range from 8pm-5am (can vary due to daylight savings in the U.S.)
