Responsibilities

  • Accurately stock, itemize, and clean guest room minibars daily.
  • Take inventory, process guest charges for consumed items, and ensure accurate posting.
  • Ensure rotation of minibar products and maintain proper presentation standards.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure seamless service
  • Promote other Firmdale Hotels and restaurants, and practice upselling techniques where appropriate.
  • Identify and report discrepancies, damages, or missing items to management 
  • Maintain organized stock areas and assist with ordering and replenishment 
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and allergy protocols
  • Deliver the highest level of customer service with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Display appropriate telephone etiquette and effective communication at all times.
  • Support other team members and assist with departmental duties as required.
  • Take responsibility for punctuality, organization, and maintaining a clean workspace.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge in food and beverage (wine and champagne knowledge is a plus)
  • Must understand how to use POS programs such as Micros
  • Must be open to working AM/PM shifts, weekdays, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage inventory and track stock levels accurately
  • Ability to perform manual handling and physical tasks
  • HOTSOS knowledge preferred

  • Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and handling of stock
