First Connect Insurance Services is a digital marketplace providing independent insurance agents access to top US carriers and the optionality necessary to grow their businesses. Agents can work with 150+ carriers, selling various insurance policies, including home, auto, small business, and more. We're on a mission to overhaul the technology agents have access to, putting consumer-grade software at their fingertips.
We've got thousands of active agents with hundreds joining monthly, and we plan to accelerate our growth.

You'll become the first true product owner of our platform's operating system — the agency and producer structure, compliance, sign-in, account management, and role-based access that every other team at First Connect builds on. Right now, this domain sits across interim owners. You'll consolidate it into a coherent charter, establish the team's operating rhythm, and earn the trust of leadership and your cross-functional partners.

Your headline initiative is ambitious: rebuild the platform to grow with agencies of every size. Today, our platform is optimized for individual agents, but a disproportionate share of our revenue already comes from larger agencies that operate as full organizations with many producers and roles. You'll drive the strategy and execution for closing that gap—leading the migration to an agency-to-producer structure with richer roles, designing the permissions model, and ensuring that a large agency gets a great experience on day one and a growing agency never outgrows us.

Compliance, sign-in, and account management are durable, revenue-bearing domains that touch every agent. You'll partner closely with design, engineering, and our US-based business team to balance compliance requirements, technical constraints, and long-term platform opportunities. This is a remote role based in Poland with partial working-hours overlap with U.S. Pacific time — expect afternoon meetings about 2 days a week. 🚀

  • →Own the Product Strategy: Define the domain's strategy, turn it into clear requirements and user flows, and establish decision frameworks that guide the team and leadership.
  • →Consolidate and Prioritize: Bring together surfaces currently owned by interim stakeholders into a coherent roadmap with clear priorities and dependencies.
  • →Drive the Agency-to-Producer Migration: Own and drive the roadmap for rebuilding the platform to serve bigger agencies; design the roles and permissions model that agencies, producers, and the admin portal will run on.
  • →Build for Scale: Create the structures that let an agency start small and scale on the platform without ever outgrowing it; partner with your largest existing agencies as design partners.
  • →Turn Compliance into Product: Consolidate US insurance compliance requirements into automated, auditable lifecycle flows—onboarding, updates, expirations, and terminations. No prior insurance knowledge needed; we'll teach you the domain.
  • →Lead Across Teams: Treat internal teams as customers; define clear contracts and migration paths so users, teams, and compliance surfaces are consumed across the company without friction. Navigate technical constraints across legacy surfaces and the admin portal to create simple experiences. Collaborate with cross-functional partners to define success metrics, measure impact, and coordinate the cross-team roadmap to serve our largest agencies.
  • 5+ years in product management with a proven track record of delivering successful products in fast-paced environments.
  • A customer-first mindset: you spend time with users, understand their pain points firsthand, and turn them into simple products they love.
  • Comfort with ambiguity: you turn unowned problem spaces into roadmaps and shipped product.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills across engineering, design, and business.
  • Experience driving large migrations or re-architectures with cross-team dependencies.
  • Success building products under trust, compliance, or policy constraints.
  • You are based in Poland with a good command of both English and Polish (written and spoken), and comfortable with partial overlap in U.S. Pacific time.
  • Platform or infrastructure experience in B2B SaaS: building capabilities other teams depend on, making a product enterprise-ready (multi-tenant org structures, admin consoles, permissions, audit trails).
  • A track record of taking 0-to-1 product ideas through incubation, piloting, and graduation to scaled products.
  • Experience with identity and access domains: authentication, organization and team structures, roles and permissions, or account management.
  • Marketplace expertise, especially B2B marketplaces.

Our goal is to be thorough while respecting your time.

  • Send us your CV and fill out the application form.
  • Meet Karolina, our Talent Manager, for an introductory call — 60 min.
  • Interview with John, our Senior Product Manager — 60 min.
  • Engineering check-in with Krzysztof, our Engineering Manager — 60 min.
  • Case study assignment, followed by a 90-minute presentation to a panel including Yotam, our CPO.
  • Final interview with Wojtek, our Director of Technology — 30 min.

... and welcome aboard! 👋
