As the Event Operations & Project Manager, you are responsible for operational excellence and flawless event execution across the Division’s event portfolio, enabling the establishment and growth of a standalone Events Business while driving member engagement, partner ROI, and commercial revenue.

What you will be doing: 

  • Lead end-to-end event execution and operations across a portfolio of concurrent events, including logistics, timelines, supplier and venue management, registration, attendee communications, on-site delivery, and bump-out coordination
  • Manage event budgets, expense reconciliation, compliance, and contingency planning while building strong relationships with stakeholders, partners, clients, and suppliers to ensure seamless event delivery and positive brand representation
  • Support the expansion of the event portfolio through the delivery of satellite, regional, and cluster events that increase member engagement, attract new customers, and drive preferred product sales
  • Develop premium member experiences, workshops, and exclusive access opportunities while providing event planning support, trusted supplier access, templates, and best-practice guidance to members
  • Collect and analyse event data, including attendance, engagement, revenue, partner activation outcomes, and member satisfaction, to support reporting, relationship management, and demonstration of ROI
  • Develop scalable event systems, templates, and processes while leading post-event reviews, surveys, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and event delivery

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in event management, travel, tourism, or membership organisations

  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent events from planning through to post-event evaluation

  • Proven experience in vendor negotiation and supplier relationship management

  • Commercial acumen with hands-on experience in budget management and financial reporting

  • Proficiency in event management software, EA platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel domestically and occasionally internationally
