ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Join FCM as a VIP Travel Manager and play a key role in delivering exceptional business travel experiences for high-value corporate clients. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned travel professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, managing complex domestic, regional, and international travel arrangements. You'll partner closely with travellers, travel bookers, procurement stakeholders, and suppliers to ensure seamless travel, outstanding service delivery, and long-term client retention. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan and coordinate domestic, regional, and international travel arrangements
Manage complex itineraries including multiple destinations, visa requirements, and special travel accommodations
Deliver outstanding customer service while ensuring compliance with client travel policies and budgets
Support and promote customer online adoption initiatives
Service, retain, and grow assigned client portfolios
Manage travel quotations, bookings, finance-related queries, complaints, and customer escalations
Ensure all enquiries are actioned within agreed service level agreements (SLAs)
Provide clients with travel quotes, confirmations, and documentation within required timeframes
Resolve customer queries efficiently and professionally
Adhere to One Best Way processes and procedures
Balance speed, accuracy, and service excellence in a high-volume environment
Drive customer engagement and retention initiatives
Ensure business travel arrangements are cost-effective, well-organized, and policy compliant
Demonstrate strong problem-solving, relationship-building, and presentation skills
Develop and maintain effective relationships with procurement stakeholders, travel bookers, travellers, and preferred suppliers
Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and accessible work environment where all Flighties feel welcomed, respected, and supported to thrive.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

Matric
South African Citizen or Permanent Resident
Minimum 5+ years' experience in Corporate Travel
Senior Travel Consultant experience
Minimum 5+ years' Amadeus experience
Domestic, Regional, International land and air booking experience
Expert understanding of fares, ticketing, and air travel complexity
Strong customer service and relationship management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities within SLA requirements
Relevant tertiary qualification in Travel (advantageous)
