Most recently, we launched our next-generation U.S. flood event mapping product, developed in support of FEMA, and recently featured on the front page of the New York Times.
We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Content Marketing Manager to drive growth at Floodbase by developing messaging around unmet flood risk. In this role, you will promote Floodbase’s brand and create content to engage our key audiences: those who have unprotected risks and those who can cover those risks. You’ll work cross-functionally to create high-impact content that drives awareness, engagement, and growth. This is a highly visible role, reporting to the Chief Product & Strategy Officer.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Develop Messaging: shape and execute Floodbase’s messaging strategy by identifying and crafting the stories that help customers realize they have uncovered flood risk and help carriers understand the gap in the market they need to serve
- →Create Promotional Content: write clear and compelling case studies, copy, and content to showcase Floodbase’s successes within the flood insurance market, turning complex concepts and stories into a compelling narrative to drive market action and drive growth
- →Engage Press & Media: promote Floodbase’s brand in popular and trade outlets, choosing channels strategically to ensure that Floodbase’s voice is clear, timely, and impactful
- →Manage Digital Media Presence: Oversee Floodbase’s online presence, including website content, newsletters, and social media platforms like LinkedIn, to maximize visibility and engagement
- 4-5 years of work experience in marketing, journalism, project management, or a related field
- 2+ years of proven experience in full-stack marketing, with a track record of successful campaign management for technical B2B products for global clients
- Collaborative work experience with designers to produce polished collateral, and good visual sense
- A record writing excellent copy that tells a complex story in a clear and compelling way
- Experience at a high-growth B2B data platform or insurtech company is preferred
- Passion for climate-tech and commercializing climate adaptation solutions
What We Offer
~1 min readFloodbase offers competitive salaries with regular reviews and adjustments based on performance and industry standards. The salary range for this role is commensurate with experience, with an expected range of $125,000 - $155,000. Additionally, this individual will receive equity compensation and a competitive benefits package.
