Flyspace Productions is looking for energetic, dependable people to join our event team for Oktoberfest 2026, running October 2 through October 11.
This is a big, busy, high-energy event—and a lot of fun. You'll be working right in the middle of the Oktoberfest action, helping us keep the event running smoothly and creating a great experience for thousands of guests.
We're hiring for two primary types of positions:
Event Assistants – Help with event operations, guest activities, setup, breakdown, site organization, and all the little things that keep a large festival moving.
Ride Operators – Help safely operate and monitor festival rides and attractions, assist guests, manage lines and loading/unloading, and make sure everyone has a fun and safe experience.
No lederhosen required. Enthusiasm is encouraged.
What You'll Be Doing
Depending on your assignment, you may:

Help set up, operate, and break down Oktoberfest activities and event areas
Operate or assist with festival rides and attractions
Welcome guests and provide friendly, helpful customer service
Help manage lines, entrances, activity areas, and guest flow
Load and unload supplies and organize event materials
Keep assigned areas clean, organized, and ready for guests
Communicate with event managers and other Flyspace team members
Follow operating procedures and safety instructions
Work outdoors and stay active throughout your shift
Jump in wherever the team needs an extra hand

Who We're Looking For
You don't need years of event experience. We're looking for people who are:

Dependable and punctual – festivals don't run without a great crew
Friendly and comfortable interacting with the public
Positive, energetic, and ready to work as part of a team
Comfortable being on their feet for extended periods
Able to follow directions and established safety procedures
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Available for flexible shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
Able to lift up to 50 pounds for assignments that involve physical event work
At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.

Experience with festivals, amusement rides, attractions, customer service, hospitality, concerts, or live events is great—but it's not required. We'll provide training for your assigned role.
Availability
Oktoberfest runs October 2–11, 2026.
We're looking for team members who can work throughout the event. Hours and assignments will vary based on the event schedule, and there may also be opportunities to help with setup before the event and breakdown afterward.

About Flyspace Productions
Flyspace Productions is a full-service, woman-owned event management and production company. We produce some of the largest festivals and live events in the region, along with private, corporate, and community events.
Our team provides event management and logistics as well as professional audio, lighting, rigging, staging, and production services.
Oktoberfest is one of those events where a lot is happening at once—and that's part of what makes working it so much fun.

Hourly, non-exempt temporary/seasonal position. Pay starts at $17/hour, with higher rates potentially available based on experience, responsibilities, and technical skills.
