As a Fuel Cycle Fuel Recycling system lead, you will be responsible for guiding the design of tritium extraction from the chamber, breeding blanket, and wall, from early concept development through detailed design, licensing, and handover to construction and commissioning. The role combines deep technical expertise with organizational leadership to ensure technical excellence and effective cross-functional coordination throughout the project lifecycle.

End-to-end accountability for the Fuel Cycle Fuel Recycling design.

Technical Leadership.

Define and govern the overall Fuel Cycle Fuel Recycling architecture, including configuration, major design parameters, and fundamental safety approach.

Resolve complex, cross-cutting technical issues that cannot be resolved at the engineer or discipline level.

Write key engineering deliverables including system design descriptions, design basis documents, interface control documents, and safety analysis inputs.

Lead a multidisciplinary team.
- →
Report design status, risks, and issues clearly and regularly to the Fuel Cycle Group Leader.

Manage design change control processes to maintain schedule and cost discipline while preserving design integrity.
M.Sc. in nuclear engineering or chemical engineering.
Experience in fluid engineering.
Advanced experience specifically in process engineering simulation tools.
Minimum of 5 years of experience and 2 years of experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams.
Deep knowledge of process engineering for plant systems, safety analysis principles, and design basis development.
Experience designing and calculating fluid process
Knowledge of nuclear reactor physics.
Advanced fission reactor knowledge is an advantage.
Fusion is an advantage.
Mastery of process engineering tools.
Understanding processes, mechanical analysis and I&C.
Manage requirements, FMEA, licensing, documentation and control.
Project scheduling.
Experience in fluid engineering applied to the nuclear industry.
Experience in advanced nuclear reactor systems.
Experience in advanced fusion systems.
Programming skills.
