About the Role

~1 min read

As Retail Deployment Manager, you’ll own the end-to-end deployment of major retail change into our store network—ensuring initiatives are practical, sequenced effectively, and delivered successfully in real trading environments.

This is a critical leadership role where you’ll be accountable for how change lands in stores. Working closely with Programme and Project teams, Retail Operations, and external partners, you’ll translate approved initiatives into clear, executable deployment plans that minimise disruption and protect store performance.

You’ll lead the retail deployment discipline—managing the change pipeline across stores, ensuring readiness, coordinating rollout activity, and supporting teams through go-live and stabilisation. You’ll also lead a team of Store Trainers and deployment specialists, building a consistent, scalable, and practical approach to change across the network.

Key initiatives include large-scale programmes such as POS transformation, SAP and enterprise system rollouts, store openings, Change of Ownership activity, and regulatory change.

You’re an experienced delivery leader who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments and understands the realities of store operations.

You bring:

  • Experience delivering large-scale operational change in multi-site retail or frontline environments
  • Proven success leading deployment of complex programmes, systems, or operating model changes
  • Strong leadership experience managing field teams, trainers, and cross-functional delivery resources
  • Experience with major system rollouts (POS, SAP, ERP or similar platforms
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels
  • Strong planning, prioritisation, and pipeline management capability across multiple concurrent initiatives.pdf) You’ll be highly organised, pragmatic, and resilient—able to balance pace and risk while maintaining a strong focus on customer experience and store stability
