About the role
The Guest Experience Intern supports the Guest Experience and Front Office teams in delivering personalized, memorable, and seamless experiences throughout the guest journey. This internship offers hands-on exposure to guest engagement, service personalization, and cross-department collaboration, focusing on anticipating guest needs and enhancing satisfaction at every touchpoint.
The Guest Experience Intern plays an active role in upholding the hotel’s service standards while developing a strong foundation in luxury hospitality and guest experience management.
What you will do
- Welcome and engage guests in a warm, professional, and proactive manner, ensuring they feel valued from arrival to departure.
- Support the creation of personalized guest experiences by identifying preferences, special occasions, and individual needs.
- Assist guests with inquiries related to hotel services, facilities, operating hours, in-house events, and key personnel.
- Provide recommendations and information about the city, local attractions, restaurants, and cultural experiences.
- Respond to guest requests and feedback in a timely and professional way, escalating or supporting service recovery when needed.
- Collaborate with Front Office, Concierge, Guest Services, Housekeeping, and F&B teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Support reservations, special requests, and coordination of guest experiences and amenities when required.
- Maintain a visible presence in the lobby, greeting guests and offering assistance proactively.
- Assist with administrative and operational Guest Experience tasks as needed.
What you bring
- Education: High school education or equivalent experience.
- Service Passion: Genuine enthusiasm for hospitality and delivering personalized guest experiences.
- Guest-Centric Mindset: Ability to anticipate needs and tailor services to create memorable stays.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a professional and approachable attitude.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to notice guest preferences and ensure consistency in service delivery.
- Teamwork: Collaborative approach and willingness to support different departments.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to handle guest interactions calmly and effectively.
- Languages: Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English and Spanish; additional languages are an asset.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Legal Requirement: Authorization to work in Spain.
Degree: Currently enrolled in Hospitality, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field.
Languages: Fluency in both written and spoken English and Spanish.
