Licensing Approvals Coordinator

Ripple Junction is looking to add a full-time Licensing Approval Coordinator to our busy team.

The right person will be able to coordinate approval submissions and product development for designs generated by our art department with numerous licensors on a variety of submission portal platforms. The incumbent must be detail oriented with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Facilitate Ripple Junction’s design concepts through the licensor approvals process, including concept submissions, preproduction submissions, and contractual samples
• Communicate legal, packaging and any other specific licensor requirements to the internal sales, design and production teams; and log those requirements in the company’s internal tracking systems
• Fill out submission forms and/or complete online submissions templates required for Licensor approval
• Accommodate Sales, Purchasing, and Art Departments’ needs to prioritize approval submissions with our various licensors
• Track status of the submissions daily, and alert other departments of updated status when necessary
• Build and maintain strong licensor relationships
• Monitor specific licensor needs and requests
• Ensure that designs and packaging adhere to the various licensor requirements, including legal, sample, and contractual requirements
• Stay up-to-date on licensor assets and style guide releases, downloading and sharing with the rest of the organization via email
• Note that all of the above are essential duties

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Excel and Word on PC Platform

• Experience in licensing
• Experience with online approval and asset management
• College degree
• Pop culture experience and fandom

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Must be able to work within deadlines in a team environment
• Self-sufficient in handling deadlines and creating time schedules for ongoing projects
• Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
