Job Title:  IT Cloud Administrator (Microsoft Entra, Intune, Defender, and Azure)

Key Responsibilities

1. Platform Administration
   • Manage and maintain Microsoft Entra configurations, ensuring reliable identity and access management (IAM) across the organization.
   • Administer Microsoft Intune for device configuration, endpoint management, and application deployment.
   • Oversee the configuration, monitoring, and ongoing management of Microsoft Defender security solutions to protect endpoints and cloud services.
   • Monitor, deploy, and manage Azure resources to optimize the performance and security of cloud-based infrastructure.
2. Security and Compliance
   • Implement best practices for identity governance, threat protection, and vulnerability management within Microsoft Entra and Defender.
   • Conduct regular audits, reviews, and health checks of Azure resources to ensure compliance with industry standards.
   • Develop and maintain security policies, incident response plans, and documentation to address potential threats proactively.
3. Monitoring and Troubleshooting
   • Utilize monitoring tools and dashboards to track system performance, capacity planning, and availability of all managed services.
   • Investigate and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, IAM, endpoint management, or security incidents promptly.
   • Collaborate with support teams, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve escalated issues and optimize system performance.
4. Automation and Optimization
   • Develop and maintain scripts, workflows, and automation solutions to streamline repetitive tasks and configuration deployments.
   • Analyze usage trends, identify opportunities for cost optimization in Azure, and recommend efficient resource utilization strategies.
5. Documentation and Training
   • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system designs, standard operating procedures, and knowledge base articles.
   • Provide guidance and training to internal teams on emerging technologies, security protocols, and system best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven track record (3+ years) as a System Administrator, Cloud Administrator, or similar role.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra (Azure Active Directory), Intune, Defender for Endpoint, and Azure administration.
  • Proficiency in IAM management, access policies, and identity protection.
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, security protocols, and cloud governance.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects, adapt to evolving environments, and prioritize tasks efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Security Administrator, or Intune-related certifications).
• Experience with additional Microsoft 365 services (SharePoint Online, Teams, or Exchange Online).
• Background in zero-trust security frameworks or advanced security methodologies.
