Machine Operator

Perform various measurements of foam buns and operate Production Saw to cut foam buns into predetermined lengths to meet production quality and quotas. Must be consistently accurate reading a tape measure and operate conveyor belts to transfer material. Must be willing to work on a team and work independently. Will mark material with measurements. Communicate with Pour Line production workers and Fabrication Manager and other production workers in a corporative, efficient, and positive manner. Must be comfortable working around chemicals and adhere to safety policies that are site specific and within industry standards. Must have natural attention to detail, certified in Hazmat and HAZWOPER, and familiar with DOT Hazmat requirements (all training will be provided). Must be physically fit to work in area specific environment and pass annual pulmonary function testing.

1.Will work directly with the Pour Line Manager and Shift Supervisor to coordinate and implement all directives in a positive and professional manner for Pour Line Production.

2.Will coordinate with Fabrication Lead, Group Lead or Shift Supervisor to ensure appropriate foam material is available for Fabrication to meet production levels.

.3.Consistent monitoring of quality and accuracy is vital in this position.

4.Communicate professionally, effectively, and with courtesy with employees, managers, customers, vendors, and other departments.

5.Make sound decisions, anticipate and adapt to changing needs and resolve problems.

6.Meet company standards and follow company policies including safety.

7.Perform duties fairly, efficiently, and in the best interest and long-term success of the company.

8.All materials, equipment procedures, and training associated with this position and department are deemed “Confidential and Proprietary Information.” Misuse or removal from the premises without proper authorization from the Plant Manager may result in termination and liability exposure.
