PRIMARY EMPLOYMENT OBJECTIVES
The Senior Supply Chain Analyst plays a critical role in optimizing end-to-end supply chain performance through data-driven insights, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic planning. This role is responsible for analyzing inventory, demand, and supply signals to improve service levels, reduce costs, and support business growth.
Acting as a bridge between operations, procurement, engineering, finance, and commercial teams, the Senior Supply Chain Analyst transforms complex data into actionable strategies and communicates them effectively to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Demand Planning & Forecasting
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Finance to develop and continuously improve demand forecasts.
- Analyze historical trends, seasonality, and market dynamics to enhance forecast accuracy.
- Support and contribute to the monthly S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process.
Supply Planning, Procurement & Engineering Coordination
- Translate demand forecasts into supply plans aligned with production and procurement constraints.
- Partner with sourcing and procurement teams to ensure material availability and mitigate supply risks.
- Support supplier performance tracking (OTIF, lead times, quality).
- Participate in Engineering Change Order (ECO) reviews to assess supply chain impact (inventory exposure, obsolescence risk, lead times, and cost implications) and ensure smooth implementation.
Data Analysis, Reporting & Visualization
- Develop and maintain dynamic, automated reporting tools using advanced Excel (Power Query, Power Pivot) and/or Power BI.
- Build dashboards and KPIs (inventory health, service levels, forecast accuracy, supplier performance) to provide real-time visibility.
- Ensure data integrity across systems and reporting tools.
Inventory & Materials Management
- Develop and maintain accurate, real-time visibility of inventory across all locations (raw materials, WIP, finished goods).
- Monitor stock levels and implement strategies to optimize inventory turns while maintaining target service levels.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies between system records and physical inventory.
- Lead periodic inventory audits to ensure data integrity and compliance.
Executive Communication & Decision Support
- Prepare clear, concise executive summaries highlighting key insights, risks, and opportunities.
- Present supply chain performance, analysis, and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Translate complex datasets into actionable business decisions and strategic recommendations.
Process Improvement & Optimization
- Identify inefficiencies and lead continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.
- Implement best practices in inventory management, forecasting, and planning processes.
- Support digital transformation initiatives, including system enhancements, AI Agent, reporting automation, and data governance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Production, Logistics, Procurement, Engineering, Finance, and Commercial teams to align supply chain activities with business objectives.
- Act as a key point of contact for supply chain-related analysis and decision support.
- Provide recommendations on risk mitigation, cost optimization, and service improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or related field.
- 5–8+ years of experience in supply chain, planning, or inventory management roles.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP, Excel, including Power Query and data modeling.
- Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
- Strong understanding of S&OP, demand planning, and inventory optimization.
- Experience working with Engineering teams and ECO processes is an asset.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience interacting with senior leadership.
- Sytline, Infor CSI or any other ERP preferred not required

Work environment
- Office base and manufacturing environment.
- 30% travel between Galvion facilities.
