Position Title:  Procurement Summer Intern   Pay Rate: $20.50/hour - $26.00/hour  Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is placed in the pay range. Category/Shift: Non-Exempt Full-Time   The Job You Will Perform:  Global Cellulose Fiber’s Procurement Organization will sponsor a three (3) month Intern program.  Chemicals & Energy Procurement Intern: While learning about procurement of chemicals and energy, the summer intern(s) may have an opportunity to: Participate in the bid process for various chemical categories, complete supplier evaluation, and vet their qualifications. Participate in contracting strategies to deliver lower carbon emissions chemistries for our manufacturing processes. Assess FERC compliance for our manufacturing locations as it pertains to our energy sales and procurement activities as qualified facilities under the combined heat and power or small power producer rules. Support federal filings for compliance of EQR, 556 and 552 compliances. In partnership with our energy attorney update compliance plan and training documentation to close gaps and sustain future performance. Support contractual updates and notifications from recent ownership change. Support creation and execution of non-disclosure agreements with business partners as needed. Support the management and sale of renewable energy credits for the GCF facilities. Improve use of business tools to support improving contract management in the manufacturing sites. This includes: pivot tables, power BI, Process Information Vision, and SEEQ applications to support renewable energy sales, chemical transportation, and inventory management.  Support electrical tariff comparisons. Conduct financial compliance audits for our procurement processes. Duties include, but are not limited to data collection, process improvement projects, and report design and preparation.  In addition to their primary assignments, all interns will have the opportunity to learn about other areas of interest within Global Cellulose Fibers. About You: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Forestry or Engineering related fields Sophomore, Junior or Senior Cumulative GPA 3.0 or higher  Key Competencies: Action Oriented, Problem Solving, Customer Focus, Dealing with Ambiguity, Drive for Results, Learning on the Fly, Peer Relationship, Technical Learning, Timely Decision Making, Priority Setting    About Global Cellulose Fibers (GCF): Our GCF business helps customers transform renewable cellulose fibers into essential everyday products.
