Payroll Specialist

At GCI, we solve the hard problems. As a Payroll Specialist, a typical day will include the following responsibilities/duties:

Responsible for Multi-state payroll processing with strong Deltek Costpoint and UKG experience.

• →Review Timesheets
• →Post Labor
• →Process Payroll
• →Entering salary changes, new hires and terminations
• →Perform maintenance on system to include setting up contract work forces, employee records, etc.
• →Conduct briefings for employee and supervisors
• →Assist with audits when needed
• →Respond to employees questions

• Deltek Costpoint experience
• 2+ years  experience with processing payroll 
• The ability to multi-task
• Discretion handling confidential information
• Self-motivated and able to work independently completing tasks.
• Excellent communication skills
• Understanding of Federal/state tax laws and withholdings

• Education Req: BA/BS / Years of Exp: 2+ 

• • Experience with UKG (Ultipro) system
  • Microsoft Word/Excel
