About the Role
~1 min readAs an Intern, Health Communications at GCI Health Singapore, you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting real client work across health communications in Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region. You’ll learn how integrated campaigns are developed while building practical skills in media relations, content creation, research, social media, and stakeholder engagement in a fast-paced agency environment.
We are looking for candidates who can commit for preferably 6 to 12 months. Part-time commitments (minimum 3 days per week) are also welcome. We operate on a hybrid work arrangement (2 days in-office, 3 days working from home), offering flexibility while still fostering close team collaboration. Interns will also receive leave entitlement based on internship duration and commitment, as well as opportunities to participate in our Away Days - engagement and enrichment activities organized by our Culture Committee to help you recharge, connect, and bond with the team.
Responsibilities

- →Assist in developing press materials, media lists, briefing documents, presentations, and social media content.
- →Support media monitoring, outreach activities, and coverage tracking to help evaluate campaign impact.
- →Conduct research on health trends, competitors, and industry developments to support client work and insights.
- →Help create content for reports, presentations, and digital platforms, ensuring alignment with client messaging.
- →Gain exposure to stakeholder engagement activities, events, and campaign execution.
- →Collaborate with internal teams, contribute ideas during brainstorming sessions, and support project coordination in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong interest in health communications, media, marketing, or corporate communications.
- Curious, proactive, and eager to learn.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in communications, marketing, journalism, social sciences, life sciences, business, public health, or related fields.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Familiarity with social media platforms, digital trends, and content creation is a plus.
- Available for preferably 6 to 12 months. Part-time commitments (minimum 3 days per week) will also be considered.
