With this strategy, GDIT is expanding its investments in digital accelerators, emerging technology, and centers of excellence. The corporate development team is expanding to enable the acceleration of rapid deployment of mission critical technologies to meet customer demands.
The Director of Corporate Development, in partnership with the Vice President of Corporate Development, will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and executing opportunities that will align with GDIT's long-term strategic priorities.
This role offers a unique opportunity to influence GDIT's future landscape, drive enterprise growth through M&A activity, and take part in transformative initiatives across the GovCon IT Services marketplace. As the Director of Corporate Development, this executive will:
Work with business executives to develop and refine the company's inorganic growth strategy, identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets to build and execute against GDIT's strategic pipeline.
Monitor and track market dynamics, competitor actions, and innovation trends to enable informed strategic decisions.
Influence GDIT’s Growth and Technology organizations to align with inorganic growth strategies and translate strategic customer business needs by providing an informed view of the future into investment strategies that include acquisitions, investments, and partnerships.
Drive strategy development, target acquisition market analysis, due diligence and company evaluation.
Work with GDIT’s Emerging Tech and Partnership organizations to expand knowledge of, and potential future relationships with, technology companies that may help forward GDIT’s market strategy.
Partner with internal and external advisors to assess quality of earnings, revenue durability, margin sustainability, and risk. Work closely with the General Counsel to confirm transaction approach and evaluation.
In collaboration with the VP of Corporate Development, lead cross-functional diligence processes spanning finance, legal, contracts, security, compliance, HR, and IT to ensure comprehensive risk assessment and clean transaction execution.
Drive alignment with the CEO, CFO, BD, and operating leaders to anchor acquisition and venture strategies in customer demand, capability gaps, and long‑term platform priorities — converting market intelligence into decisive capital deployment.
Be accountable for rigorous financial analysis, market assessment, and strategic execution.
