We are expanding our national presence and bringing our innovative value-based care solutions to new markets. To support this continued growth, our Business Development team is seeking a high-performing leader to develop partnerships with large senior living organizations across key markets in Texas, Colorado, and Arizona, including Dallas, Austin, Denver, and Phoenix.
This leader will cultivate executive-level relationships, assess prospective partner needs, and develop strategies that address complex clinical, operational, and financial challenges. Solutions may include Curana Health’s primary care-focused medical group, Medicare Accountable Care Organizations, and Medicare Advantage health plans, offered individually or in combination.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a mission-driven organization at a pivotal stage of growth and play a critical role in expanding innovative care models across high-potential markets. The successful candidate will be a strategic, commercially minded, and relationship-driven business development leader with a proven ability to accelerate growth, build executive-level partnerships, influence key decision-makers, and navigate complex enterprise sales cycles.
The ideal candidate will bring the executive presence and communication skills needed to translate clinical, operational, and financial capabilities into compelling partnership strategies.
A strong preference will be given to candidates who reside in the Dallas, Texas area due to the significant market opportunity. Denver, Colorado, is the secondary preferred location.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Develop and execute Curana Health’s partnership and market-growth strategy across Dallas, Austin, Denver, and Phoenix.
- →Establish trusted relationships with senior living executives, operators, and other key healthcare stakeholders.
- →Identify and assess prospective partner needs and recommend Curana Health solutions that align clinical, operational, and financial objectives.
- →Lead business development activity in partnership with Curana Health’s Growth Operations team, including prospecting, outreach, presentations, negotiations, contracting, and execution.
- →Develop strong subject-matter expertise in senior living, value-based care, and Curana Health’s partnership models.
- →Build and manage a disciplined regional pipeline using Salesforce and other company CRM tools.
- →Deliver compelling presentations and partnership proposals to C-suite executives and other senior decision-makers.
- →Negotiate mutually beneficial partnership agreements with senior living organizations.
- →Collaborate with Curana Health’s operational leaders to support in-market lead generation, contracting, implementation, and long-term partnership success.
- →Based on market needs, lead and develop a highly productive, commercially oriented regional business development team.
- →Attend conferences, industry meetings, and regional events to build relationships and support market growth.
- →Travel approximately 30 to 40% throughout the assigned territory.
Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5 or more years of healthcare industry experience across provider, payer or health plan, senior living, healthcare technology, healthcare consulting, or a related healthcare sector.
- Proven success in business development, strategic partnerships, enterprise sales, or market development.
- Demonstrated experience building executive-level relationships and influencing senior decision-makers.
- Ability to assess prospective partner needs and develop solutions that connect clinical, operational, and financial objectives.
- Experience navigating complex sales cycles, negotiating agreements, and delivering measurable business results.
- Strong presentation, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Commercial mindset and comfort working in a performance-driven, deal-based environment.
- Executive presence and the ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders and decision-makers.
- Proficiency with Salesforce or a similar CRM platform and Microsoft Office applications.
- Residence in, or strong familiarity with, one or more of the assigned markets.
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 30 to 40% throughout Dallas, Austin, Denver, Phoenix, and surrounding market areas.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Residence in the Dallas, Texas, market.
- Established relationships with senior housing operators and senior living leaders in Dallas, Austin, Denver, Phoenix, or the surrounding markets.
- Strong understanding of the senior living industry and the clinical, operational, and financial challenges facing operators.
- Familiarity with value-based care models, Accountable Care Organizations, Medicare Advantage, and healthcare payment structures.
- Experience selling or developing partnerships around healthcare solutions for senior living communities.
- Experience within senior living, skilled nursing, post-acute care, value-based care, payer, provider, Medicare Advantage, healthcare technology, or healthcare consulting organizations.
- Experience with Medicare Advantage Special Needs Plans, particularly ISNP or CSNP.
- Ability to connect clinical outcomes, operational execution, and financial value within a compelling partnership strategy.
- Demonstrated success driving market expansion, revenue growth, territory growth, or long-term partnership value.
- Existing relationships with senior housing operators or executive-level healthcare decision-makers.
- Prior experience leading, mentoring, or building business development teams.

- Maintain a disciplined pipeline and convert qualified opportunities into sustainable partnerships.
- Deliver measurable market and partnership growth within an incentive-driven commercial environment.
