Responsibilities

  • →Round and manage clinical care for geriatric patients in partner facilities, including skilled nursing, long term care, assisted living, independent living and memory care facilities.
  • →Travel to facilities to provide medical coverage 4 days/week.
  • →Serve as interim Medical Director in partner facilities.
  • →Build relationships with the facility staff, administrator and nursing director.
  • →Engage with the multi-disciplinary care team to address quality of care and patient care needs.
  • →Complete timely documentation and billing for services provided per Curana policy.
  • →Respond to daytime calls from the facility when not physically present.
  • →Assist with the transition to the permanent Curana provider(s).
  • →Serve as a model and representative of Curana Health at all times.

Requirements

  • MD/DO degree from accredited medical school
  • Board Certified in Internal or Family Medicine
  • Unrestricted licensure in North Carolina with ability to obtain additional licenses within first 90days
  • Unrestricted licensure in Arizona, with ability to obtain additional licenses within first 90days
  • Easy access to a major airport for frequent travel
  • Compassionate, Intelligent, Motivated, Team Player
